Braintree, Mass., October 6, 2008 - Symmons Industries, a premier manufacturer of commercial and residential plumbing products, today announces the addition of Bob Peters as the new director of hospitality for Symmons Industries.
Bob Peters has more than 25 years experience in strategic planning and management with the international and domestic hospitality industry. Peters specializes in developing partnerships with hotel brands, managing high profile projects and building effective sales, marketing and project manager teams. At Symmons Industries, he will be responsible for managing and facilitating relationships between prominent hotel brands and the Symmons Design Studio. Prior to joining Symmons, Peters was vice president of hospitality at Decolav Corporation and national sales manager at Delta Faucet Company for hospitality and international.
The Symmons Design Studio offers owners, architects and designers the ability to create custom designs on demand. The result is unique, custom-designed and quality-manufactured fittings that create an individual style for each hotel or project. Previous projects for Symmons include the Wynn Encore, Las Vegas, Nevada, Mandarin Oriental, New York City, and the W Hotel South Beach, Miami, FL.
Peters will be based in Glendale, Arizona.
