The Design Studio: Process

The Design Studio™ process is meant to be a simple one, where your design direction meets Symmons' engineering and manufacturing. The Design Studio Live platform provides a flexible, intuitive technology tool available on the internet.

The Design Studio has three distinct components:

1. Inspiration: It begins with your idea
2. Collaboration: Symmons helps to bring your idea to life
3. Expression: It makes your product truly your own

At The Design Studio, we work with you to turn your design idea into custom-manufactured bathroom fittings. We are the only organization in the world that has the advanced capabilities necessary to do this. And we do it all with simplicity and speed that will amaze you and passion that will equal your own.

DESIGN STUDIO PROCESS: Collaboration

	Step 1. Idea: Let your ideas run wild Take your inspirations and create a unique product that no one else has ever seen before No idea is too challenging Need help? A dedicated Symmons consultant can guide you
	Step 2. Designing: Bring your idea to life in less time than it takes to browse several catalogs Use tools like SketchUp or have Symmons draw it up for you - we’re here to help Jump start your design with components from our Design Studio Live website symmons.com/live
	Step 3. 3D models: Since it is impossible to tell the scale of a piece from a picture, we provide 3D models of all your designs. This ensures your finished product will be exactly as you had planned Since there is no cost to the 3D models, you can continue to tweak your design until it is just right Models are produced within 4 days of your request - usually faster!
	Step 4. Model Room: Once the 3D models are approved, working metal products will be produced in approximately 15 business days All model room products are provided free of charge which helps to alleviate some of the budget crunch!
	Step 5. Specification Documents: Specification and cut sheets are produced and tailored to your custom product to ensure proper installation
	Step 6. Valve/Rough Delivery: While the design is being finalized, the valves can be delivered to the job site within 5 days. This allows construction to keep moving ahead while the details are being fine tuned Symmons created the first pressure balance mixing valve which is the industry standard today.
	Step 7. Finished Product: The trim delivery of your custom faucet, shower and accessories is 16 weeks. Just in time to be installed with your casegoods!
