Conserving Water

Did you know?
  • ...that bathroom sink faucets account for more than 15% of indoor water use?

  • ...that by not running the faucet when brushing your teeth, you'd save between 8-10 gallons of water each day?

  • ...that a leaky toilet could waste 172,000 gallons of water in one month— costing at least $576 in water charges alone.

"Green" is here to stay in the plumbing industry, and so is Symmons. It is important that we promote water efficiency by redefining our daily habits and take advantage of water efficient products whenever available.

Symmons sets a higher standard for low flow products and water efficiency by offering a variety of options that are built to conserve water without sacrificing style. All of Symmons' water efficient products have undergone extensive flow analysis testing to ensure that they perform well at lower flow rates.

Symmons has teamed with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) WaterSense®* program to help consumers save water for future generations and reduce costs on their utility bills. WaterSense labeled products use about 20% less water and perform as well or better than their less efficient counterparts. Symmons recently submitted over a dozen faucets for testing and WaterSense certification at 1.5gpm. Symmons is proud to be a WaterSense partner and we look forward to manufacturing and promoting WaterSense labeled products.
