Symmons Announces Winner of NEWH Product Design Competition Scholarship 2018

Symmons Industries is proud to announce that Angela Campos of Chicago, IL is the 2018 recipient of the Product Design Competition Scholarship, in partnership with NEWH, The Hospitality Industry Network. The scholarship challenges college students majoring in hospitality interior design or architecture to design a faucet for hypothetical clients.

Angela’s demonstrated professionalism, leadership and a drive to succeed has been shown in multiple facets of her professional and student life. Angela is working toward achieving a BFA in Interior Architecture from Columbia College in Chicago to help her launch into a new career in design. Her design style incorporates existing historical aspects with modern design and a focus on sustainability and can be seen in her winning Eloise wall-mounted faucet that mixes the decadence of the roaring twenties with modern trends.
